We live in a world where mass production has taken over the individual craftsmanship. As I said in prior statements, I have been influenced all my life by the Bauhaus school and its visionary leader Walter Gropius. "Architects, painters, sculptors, we must all return to crafts!". For there is no such thing as "professional art ". I am looking for a new Guild of craftsmen, hybrid people: half artist, half craftsman, able to create together a new world with no barrier of class distinction. In 2014, The New collector Gallery will walk you through the American world of Circus, Carnival and Fair, meet Folk Artists and discover Streamline American Design.
