The artist's corner

Dragonflies are having fun....That's what Tina Harrod sings....You just have, now, to enjoy your time around this Outdoors Art Déco cane table (SOLD) with ocean blue painted top. On the old "Ecole des Arts Déco" easel, sits a beautiful original framed print of a Victorian water colour by Keeley Halswell "A man on his canoe harvesting Malacca cane" 1884 (SOLD) , some tribal art representing also two men in a canoe, black wooden sculpture from Java gives a nice contrast next to the lillies blossoming in a Roman terracotta vase.

Old wooden frames, full of charm held in a big early square pine box under David's eyes, concrete cast of a Roman portrait, certainly sculpted originally in Italian marble.
